One thing I like about Penang is the people consist of many races, religions and cultures. The places I like in Penang are the Botanical Garden, Youth Park, Penang Hill and many more.
The Botanical Garden is a place full of flowers and trees and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. When you walk through the main gate, you will smell the fragrance of tropical flowers such as the angsana tree and the flame of the forest. You will even see some monkeys swinging from tree to tree in their small jungle trying to find food for themselves. Do be careful of them as they will try to steal your food. The garden is also a place for you to keep you fit by jogging, playing badminton and playing football.

Last year, when I was studying in Union they had a cross country run in the Botanical Garden. Students must attend the run because it is a school day for all the students. We had to jog three rounds and take three colours of ribbon in each round. I was surprised that day as I had won sixth place in the competition. I have never won any spot in a running competition before.
Youth Park is a place that has lots of playground for children to play. It also has a few swimming pools and all kinds of exercise equipment for adults to use. There is a skating rink for skating or roller blading. A visitor to the park can also take
a walk and enjoy the beautiful garden.
Penang is not just a place to discover its many interesting places and people. It is an environmental friendly place too. We practise a no plastic day in all the shopping malls and supermarkets on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We also encourage the people to use the 3R's, that are recycling, reducing and reusing.
I like to invite all foreigners to come to my hometown to enjoy the "ho chiak" (very delicious) food , the fun places to
see and the warm weather.I hope that my country will be a more attractive place to be visited by many other visitors from all over the world as we Penangites make it a safer and cleaner tourist destination.
Very good effort. You might want to add some pictures to make it interesting. Maybe add some Hokkien dialect with translation. Keep up the good work.
